I had Schnitzel at the XXXXXL restaurant....

Right now I am chatting with Steve on gmail, its pretty sweet. Well, everything sounds good from home. It's pretty cool that you will be grandparents, man you are old... dad. Everything is going well here, we went to an XXXXXL restaurant today, and that means that we get huge portions, and can't finish the food at the restaurant, but it's really good. I had schnitzel, and it was good, after that we played frisbee golf. In our district we have 2 sisters, and they are pretty cool. Right now, we have a guy named Clark Kuntz you can pray for, he seems really close to getting baptized, but well see what happens, I'm sure some extra prayers wouldn't hurt :) Tomorrow we have ZONE CONFERENCE, and it should be fun. Oh, yeah, we have not really been running, other than to catch a bus here and there, so, yeah, pretty out of shape, running wise, but I have been doing situps and push ups everyday for a while, and that keeps me pretty good. We can give members money to go and shop for us at the base commissary, where all the americans shop, and they actually bring us food from there, without us paying, so its pretty sweet. The ward here is awesome, and Americans in general are awesome...we actually get referrals, which is way awesome, you should seriously give some referrals to the missionaries in the ward, it helps alot, and is all of our responsibilities, so do it! That is from the Prophet, by the way. Cool stuff about that pork shop, be sure to save some for me... :) Oh, mothers day is on may 10 right? We will have to coordinate, so you can call us again, cause that worked out pretty well last time, and should work again, so yeah, and be sure to call Michael K., and tell him too, I wrote to him and told him, but make sure that he willl be there as well. Well, April is already almost over, and the time is starting to fly, only a little longer...well, yeah, a little longer. :) Thank you so much for writing, and tell Heidi thank you so much for writing me, and that I love her, and that she is my favorite cousin, and that Spencer is a spaz...hehe... Well, take care, and know that I love you all very much. Tschüss! Love Elder Bentz aka Mooker

Peanut butter, cheeze whiz and root beer...

On Easter Sunday Mooker's oldest brother, Steven and his wife Tausha told us that they are expecting our first grandchild. I asked Steven if he told Mooker yet, and he told me that he actually told Mooker weeks ago, because he knew he could keep a secret. Mooker has now transferred to a new area of Germany. Be sure to see his new address. Postage is still 94 cents until May 11, then it increases to 98 cents.
Here is Elder Bentz's latest letter--

OK, so the ward here is AWESOME! Everyone is from America, and they all speak English, and are in the Military, and feed us american food! We went over to the Booth family for Easter, and we had burgers and dogs, and root beer, and it was sweet! They gave us peanut butter, and cheese wizz, and it was sweet. At another persons home they gave us more burgers and dogs, and creme soda and root beer, after we did some yard work, it was...SWEET! So yeah, Wiesbaden is pretty dang cool, and it is really hot now, not like the way it is in AZ, but still hot.
It is nice here in the South, and we have a way sweet distrist leader, Elder Curtis, and we have two sisters as well! It´s gonna be fun here. We don't have too much going on in the way of investigators, we have two americans, and another german I think, we bring the americans to our ward, and the germans to the other ward here, so different, but cool nonetheless. Well, Steve told me about that secret nearly a month ago, and I did not tell anyone, except like everyone in my district, but they don't know you, so it was ok. Yeah, I´ll go by Uncle Mooker. I told Steve to show the kid a picture of me as soon as he or she come out of the womb, so he/she will get to know me...maybe not. Happy Easter, and tell everone hi from me. Tschüss! Letter sent to Auntie Sharon, April 8, 2009

Good luck with you Easter Primary lesson, The talk that Bro. Holland gave was powerful, and amazing. General Conference was great here. It is shown in all of the Stake centers, which for us, was in Düsseldorf, a little south of Wuppertal, it was great. And they had an english section too, so that was nice to hear some hymns in english for a change. The weather is doing really great here, and we are loving no more cold. I am getting transferred out of Wuppertal, and down to Wiesbaden, next to Frankfurt, so it will be nice. It is a military ward, and an english speaking ward, so that will be interesting, I hear they have Taco Bell on the base there, we will see. Well, take care, and know that I love you too, and am thankful for such a great family that I have. Tschüss! Love Elder Bentz aka Mooker

Transferring to Wiesbaden

For April Fool's we told Mooker that we let his cousin, Eric take Mooker's flat screen TV and his x-box to his new house to use until Mooker comes home. We thought we'd get a fun reaction, but we made the mistake of emailing an "April Fool's" letter too soon and he ended up reading that email first! Ruined the surprise. MOM

Yeah, you shouldn`t have sent that other email, it would have been better. Tell dad to not get rid of the license plate!, Keep the P4ck! BYU is temporary, P4ck is forever! That is too bad about Bro. Jarvis, but he is a great guy, and is doing some good on the other side of the veil now. Yeah, General Conference was great and we all traveled down to Düsseldorf to watch it all day Sunday, and Saturday too, we missed the last session though, because they did it live here, and it was like 10 to 12 at night, so we could not go to that one, but it was all good nonetheless. It was like the Superbowl. Oh yeah, I am getting transferred, down to Wiesbaden. It is next to Frankfurt, and I am in the Frankfurt zone now. I am leaving Wuppertal, and don`t get to say goodbye to the ward, too bad, but I wrote some of the families letters, and will have the other elders here give it to them, cause they are all way nice here. I am serving with Elder Harris in Wiesbaden, he was in my district up here for a while, and he is pretty cool, so we'll see how it goes. I don't know the address yet, I will get it to you as soon as I find out. General Conference was the biggest thing last week. Today, is my last full day in Wuppertal, so we are all going to the Zoo here, it should be fun. Yeah, it is starting to warm up now, we are going in shortsleeved white shirts now, so it is pretty nice. no more cold. It feels good to be leaving Wuppertal, but not, at the same time, it is just a part of the mission, and life, to move on to different things. But I just got that seed parable at the last general conference, if it is good, it will grow!, that is true. Well, I don't have too much more to say, that is cool about Steve being accepted to BYU law school, I worte him. Tell every body "hi" from me. Oh, and mom, I plan on coming home and taking piano lessons from you, cause I want to learn how to read music and play the piano, so yeah, a little ways away, but thought I might just throw that in there. Thanks, Alright Tschüss! Love Elder Bentz aka Mooker

Bump Day

Hey, Thanks for the pictures, The backyard looks great, and so does chloe. This last week was pretty good. Ww got a carpet for our Wouhnung ( apartment) and it looks nicer now, and more cozy. We had this meeting with a Bible study group and gave them a kind of first lesson, it went ok, but I don`t expect any appointments from it. We did get to sing some Sweet Jesus songs with this one guy who was rockin`on the guitar, kinda felt like hippies, but it was cool. We also got to meet with this one awesome famliy, the Goedekings, they are dual citizens in America and Germany, and they had us over for Dinner, and were way nice and gave us "easy mac". They seemed like members already, but they are not of course, but we`ll see if we can`t change that...They are way nice, and super friendly, just like any American right? That Preach My Gospel thing in church sounds good, we tried to have sumthin like that here, but our Mission President was going to come and speak then he got stuck in a traffic jam, and didn`t make it. The ward here is cool, but just needs sumthin to get em kickstarted into missionary work. Last Saturday was Piccobello tag, and that is when the whole city is supposed to clean the city. We had the area all around our church, and of course it rained, it would not be a good Wuppertal day, if it did not rain. We got really wet, but it was good. Transfer calls come on Saturday, so you will know where I am going, or what I am doing next tuesday. It is officially my 6 month mark, or BUMP DAY!, Cuz it goes, jump day, bump day, hump day, slump day, dump day. For the Beg. 6 months, 1 year, 18 months and END. So I am 25 % done already! Tell Tami thanks for that poem, and that I did get it, but did not get to make my own or anything, I am pretty sure they don`t celebrate April Fools day here, but we are planning on doing something to the other Elders in our area, we`ll see. Alright, Tschüss! Love Elder Bentz aka Mooker

P.S. Tell Bishop nice job with dropping the bowl!
